yeah, I think I'm decided on leaving deviant art. I'll start closing my arts down this week. I'll still keep my account and check up on people and fav and comment once in a while, but I think its time to move my creative energies elsewhere.

still working on california moving plans. the new tentative idea is a 2-month timeline. need to get all of my medical stuff in order before I move, and/or parents take me off insurance. crossing my fingers I don't get majorly screwed.

the site is just driving me nuts. Its barely kept up, and barely a shadow of what it used to be. I can't even use the search function to look up new artists, without the whole thing crashing. I can't choose a little "mood" icon for this journal, because the little dealie won't load.

And don't tell me its my bandwidth, or I may beat you, long-distance, through cyber-space, WITH A STICK.

On that note, I have new projects

One is titled "300 Angels" - wherein I have challenged myself to make (surprise) 300 angels by next year. I have any medium at my disposal. and I do mean any medium. If I so desire to draw a cherub on the wall with poo, and take a snap of it.... hey, that's actually not a bad idea.... hm.

The other is not quite at the place where I wanted it to be to start sharing, but I'm doing it anyway.
This one is called "It's a Secret", and its basically a weblogcomic (I think I just coined a new word) depicting how myself and my significant other met. Throw in some disastrously bad Nerd humor, and a talking book, and VOILA.

So its not my BEST idea, but I really just like sketching uber random things.

been swamped with wisdom teeth surgery (which... didn't go well...),
finals,
apartment-hunting in cali,
starting new job as a waitress (yeah. fuckin' fianlly. woo hoo.),
the holidays,
and some major anxiety issues.

so yeah. back home now, and mostly sleeping off a sinus infection. and playing pokemon on my old school gameboy.

anyone looking forward to the new year?

I am in the process of being disowned by my family.
I now have no college funding, no car, no cellphone. fortunately, I am just starting a new job at a nearby ritzy country club, so I'm hoping the money from that will help.

after this semester, I will be moving to california to be with my boyfriend. because of this, I am condemned, and they call me a harlot.

everything is kind of a mess right now, but fortunately, I do have this computer. so as long as internet is provided, I'll keep posting.

just came up with a cool idear.


I am going to start a new photo series. and it will be 101 different ways to say "love". the word love will appear in each photo, but it may be written in another language, or carved out of leaves, or painted across my body...

I dunno....
I have a migraine so maybe this is stupid or has been done before, but I wanted to brave the bright, bright light from the monitor and jot it down before I lost it.

I just thought that it might make an interesting collection, and something fun I can present to my boyfriend on our anniversary.
